The Refresh Spot

Located in the heart of downtown Los Angeles, Refresh Spot serves as a vital hygiene and wellness hub for individuals experiencing homelessness in Skid Row. The site provides access to showers, restrooms, laundry services, and case management support.

At this location, we offer free health screenings to help bridge gaps in preventative care. Many community members face significant barriers to accessing traditional healthcare settings, and our goal is to provide compassionate, low-barrier services directly within the community.

Angelina Apartments

Angelina Apartments is a permanent supportive housing site in Little Tokyo that provides stable housing and on-site services for formerly unhoused individuals.

Our work here focuses on promoting long-term health and wellness through preventative screenings and education. By bringing services directly to residents, we aim to support continuity of care and empower individuals to take an active role in managing their health

Pico Union Project

Located in one of Los Angeles’ most vibrant and diverse neighborhoods, The Pico Union Project is a community-centered space that provides programming, resources, and support for local families.

At this site, we conduct health screenings in a welcoming and accessible environment. Our goal is to promote early detection, health education, and community trust — helping ensure that preventative care reaches populations that are often underserved.

Campus Collaborations

At GMT at UCLA, collaboration is central to our mission. We partner with a diverse range of student organizations across campus to expand the reach and impact of our health screenings. By working alongside pre-health, public health, cultural, service, and advocacy clubs, we bring together students with different perspectives, skills, and passions for community care.
